Freedom for Kurdistan

Kurdistan has been under the control of neighboring nations for centuries after the Ottoman and the British Empire separated it into four parts. Today, the Kurdish government and the Iraqi government do not agree with each other’s ideas and rules, so it is better for Iraqi Kurdistan to be an independent country.
First of all, it is very easy for an independent Kurdistan to depend on themselves regarding their economy. Kurdistan has its own natural resources such as oil and gas. Additionally, the land is rich in minerals and nutrients suitable for growing many types of plants. The land can be easily cultivated for growing crops without the use of fertilizers that can destroy nature and affect human health. Moreover, a lot of huge foreign businesses and companies are starting to open up in Kurdistan.
Another reason why Kurdistan should be independent is because of the Kurdish government. Since the Kurdish uprising in 1991, Kurdistan has strived to separate itself to have its own government, and after all the revolutions, Kurdistan built their own parliament. Consequently, they chose their own president and all the other governmental personnel through a democratic process. Until this day, Kurdistan has been trying its hardest in order to be a free independent country. With all the changes and hard efforts, it is possible for Kurdistan to be free.
In conclusion, the best actions that Kurdistan can do in this situation is to be an independent country. With the Kurdish people standing side by side, with the help of their government, and all the political parties, it is not impossible for Kurdistan to be a free and independent country. After all, being free is better than living under the control of others.
